Firefox stuck in Farsi...

Hi! I just purchased a used Macbook (OS10.5.8). The laptop was set in Farsi as its primary language but I switched that. I am not in a country where Farsi would be the automatic download. I downloaded the English version of Firefox after resetting the computer language and all other programs (ex: Safari) switched to English, but in Firefox, the tool bar and all the sites (Mozilla, Yahoo, Google etc) are in Farsi. Also, everything is aligned right to left. This is incredibly bewildering to me and I can't understand anything so I don't know how to get it out.
