Hi there. I connected my old ibook to my new one by firewire to transfer some pictures and music. I put the old mac in target disk mode and transferred files across (i think... they say .ipmeta after the file name). However, files have disappeared off the desktop on the new mac but I can see them by going into the HD in a folder called Desktop_. I can't drag them back to the desktop though!! It also says when clicking on Desktop under 'Places' on the HD that there isn't a default application for opening the desktop?????? PLEASE HELP!!!!
