Fix your Macbook random shutdown!

Apple has addressed the random shutdown of some Macbooks with a firmware update.

I guess there were 2 issues causing this. One, the software issue and another an issue of a thermal sensor wire too close to a heatsink which gives it false information making the computer shut down to protect itself from overheating.

Never had the problem, but that didn't stop me from upgrading the firmware.

Hello i'm new here and this is my first replay so.... HI

i just experienced this problem only when i log in windows XP from my macbook and especially after download the latest firmware 10.4.8 .

after the update everything run smoothly...
