Flash and Shockwave on OSX 10.2

Flash and Shockwave on OSX 10.2 arent working!!!!!!!! ever since i got 10.2 none of the above players work. ive tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting and reinstalling, and nothing seems to work...any ideas??


P.S. the forum theme jumped back to purple? (there is no more option to set it back to dark blue)
 
for both flash and shockwave, ive tried internet explorer, and chimera.


and for the site being purple, ive also been in chimera and internet explorer.
 
Look to see where it's getting installed. My boss' Flash 6 plug-in was getting installed in the classic apps!! We tried many times, and gave some choice words, before he realized this.

wait a minute...

i'm wondering if you have to rebuild the desktop database in this instance...

go to the terminal and enter the following...


sudo /usr/libexec/locate.updatedb

it will ask you for a password... wait a few minutes until it finishes.

this may help... maybe not...
