I cannot listen to flash video on websites like YouTube etc. as the audio is all scrambed and sounds like 1000 people running their fingernails down a blackboard all at once.
This has only just started happening, I am *pretty sure* it was happening before I installed 10.4.10, so I don't think it is caused by that.
I have provided an audio sample so people can hear what I mean (see attached)
Turn your speakers down! I reduce the volume in the MP3 file but it is still loud and annoying
Some things to note
- happened suddenly AFAIK
- does this in all browsers, not just safari
- I tried using a clean 'dummy' account and the same thing happened
- if i download the flash file to desktop and play it in VLC, the sound is OK
is there a pref file or some other library file i should try resetting?
