Flip4Mac Problems.

Hi,

I have recently subscribed to a football highlights service, which is only available to windows users. However, I was reliably informed that downloading flip4mac would circumvent this problem! However, the videos are not playing in my Safari browser.

The content is DRM licensed, I wondered if that would affect flip? As a subscriber I thought I would be OK?

Can anyone advise? I'm using MacOSX 10.4.11 and the Safari browser.

Cheers.

Well if they are using Windows 10+ Media that is DRMed then no one except XP or Windows better can view it. You can blame Microsoft because they will not license DRMed windows media to either apple or linux. so you are screwed on a Mac or Linux and there is nothing we can do.

I believe that the DRM licensed stuff has been discussed HERE and will not play on anything other than the M$ Vista

Vista is not required, but Windows running Windows Media Player is. Whether it is version 9, 10, or 11 depends on the format of the video.
