folder alias's goofy looking.

check this out... was playing rtcw online... when I force quit the app, here is a shot from my desktop... look at the alias' for the folders..

jeesh, X.... the os you LOVE but HATE.

Believe it or not, I've seen this bug in both Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X... granted, it's a very rare occurence, but it happens. I suppose the OS just reads the icon files in an "off" way, and just screws up. It goes away with a restart, though... can anybody offer a more technical explanation?

hmm, actually, I think I opened them and closed a few times, and they went back to normal.... but im sure a restart would do it too.

ie does it cure after a relaunch of the finder
