Hello everyone. How many here have heard about Folding@Home. Show of hands? Ok, yeah. Alright, so about 50% of you then? Oops, 51% sorry, nearly missed the short guy in the back. Well, there is a team that could use your help that is truly right up your alley. What? You want to know what Folding is all about first. Ok, check this out.

I don't know if you guys have considered using your Macs to work on the cure for Alzheimers, Cancer, parkinsons, Madcow Disease and such or if you just want to have another way to show those PC users that Mac 's are better than PC's at yet another thing, but this is your chance to do both.

Folding is like Seti@Home only better in my opinion because something will definately come of it that will help people in the near future. Plus you get to be a part of the Mac OS X team, TeamMacOSX. We are in the top 25 and could really climb the ranks towards #1 with more people signing on. I am trying my best but we could use help form some real dedicated Mac users like those found here. Maybe this site could even make it the official team of MACOSX.COM? That way you get a start near the top of the heap. If you want to join Download the Client here and get cranking. Oh and it is OS X native for either the GUI or the CLI so everyone can get what they want, and they are working on getting it Altivec enhanced, unlike SETI. So Join us, the team number to enter is 1971 and you can use any Username you like. After you post your first unit you will show up in the stats, and then you too can shoot for #1!

I am willing to answer any questions anyone has about this. If you have technical help questions, or just general questions. Let's kick some PC butt!

Yeah... the last time I checked, we arnt attatched to that group...

I don't know if we should step on their feet...

And how do we know you're not part of their teams founder or something... eh? eh?...

I am a part of the team, but I am certainly not the founder. I simply came in and kicked all their butts. :p

This project has definately gotten my backing and I felt that the team worked for me as it not only worked on the project, but it was doing well and was for my OS and platform of choice. :D
