Font Management

Before I fully take the plunge into OS X...

I've heard that if I want to manage a large library of fonts (many hundreds, I'm a designer) that my best option is Suitcase.

First, are there other utilities out there? (Is the rumor about Adobe's ATM not being upgraded for OS X, true?)

Second, Can anybody point me to a good primer on this topic (General font issues w/ OS X.)

Thanks,

I think OS X's unix underpinnings do a great job of handling many fonts without any type helpers. This isn't classic OS 9, this is solid as a rock BSD running OS X, so no need to worry about fonts eating up memory and such. OS X is very good at handling that :D

Suitcase has been kind of buggy for me, managing a mere two hundred fonts or so. I've switched to Font Reserve 3.0.1, which is working out pretty well (so far).
