Font Puzzlement

Hardwood is an old generation PostScript font, not OpenType. Certain characters show up in certain applications and not in others. The most simple example is the "at" character: @

Here are where all the characters display and print: Microsoft Word 2004, Nisus Writer Express, Pages, Entourage, TexEdit.

Here are where they don't: Adobe InDesign CS2, Text-Edit Plus.

Why?

Yes. (Thanks for the advice.) Didn't help.
