font smoothing

Anyone else think the font smoothing in IE 5.2 sucks? I usually use mozilla but when i have to use IE for something it really blows.

if you don't like it then disable it. I have it disabled for obvious reasons...

Probably really obvoius, but how can you switch font smoothing off then?

Preferences > Interface Extras. Uncheck the box that says "Enable Quartz text smoothing."

Where can I find Interface Extras? It's not under System Preferences.

It's in the Explorer Preferences. I thought the same as you initially.
