Fonts

I was trying to install a font in the general system but it says i can't modify that folder. I am logged in as the administator. Why won't it let me put them in the general fonts folder..it will only let me put them in my fonts folder for that account.

the best place to put it is the usr/username/library/fonts (or some dir like that). In general it aint a good idea to tamper with the system wide system folder unless you know waht you are doing

Were you trying to install fonts into /System/Library/Fonts? If so, don't, that's Apple's directory (like everything else under /System). For fonts for just a user, follow AdmiralAK's direction; for all users, use /Library/Fonts, to which admins should have write access.
