Format hard drive?

Hi

I want to sell my ibook and don't want the new user to get any basic information. How do I format the hard drive to start afresh or how do I just delete the admin username?

I would wipe the drive and reinstall the os using the disk that came with your iBook

Haven't read the linked info, but you'd basically simply use the installation media that came with your computer and choose a clean installation that formats the drive where asked. Start up from the first installation medium by holding down the "c" key at startup.
