fortran developer studio

Would anybody who knows please recommend open-source/free developer studio for programming in Fortran.

I have dabbled a *wee* bit with Eclipse.org and its Photran plug-in. I am looking for options please.

If you know of *any* studios (regardless of whether they're available for mac), please share your ideas & experiences. Although I work on primarily on a mac, I share time on Unix, Linux, and Windows systems.

In advance, thanx for your ideas.

Christopher

This is followup to my above post.

I have *just* now discovered XCode. [I feel a bit sheepish for having failed to consider it as an option for developing fortran code. I looked at it a wee bit when I first got my mac...]

Anyway -- Has anybody ever used XCode for developing fortran code?

I will try plugging-in/connecting fortran compilers to XCode soon-ish. If anybody has any experience with this, I would love to hear about it.

Take care.

I have not used Fortran much. I tried F90 on Linux using Intel's fortran
compiler and it seemed fine. Intel has its compilers for Intel Macs in
beta: http://www.intel.com/cd/ids/developer/asmo-na/eng/255716.htm
so if you have or will have Intel Mac, check them.
