My Powerbook G3 suddenly gave me four beeps at startup.
The problem started after I made a bootable backup from my OS X drive to my firedrive. When I made a startup of this firedrive my normal startup sound halfway went very loud. Later on I did use Norton on my normal harddisk.)
Next time I made a cold start I had this S..t.
Did look ik up at Apple sup.
4 beeps = no good boot images in the boot ROM (and/or bad sys config block)
After lots of unauthorised fundeling I got the machine running again. but if I make a new restart the same thing happens again.
Any sugestions?
Bo
