Free software to convert video to DVD?

2014 New Year is coming. I just want to transfer the video I shot on my friend's wedding to a DVD disc and sent to her as a New Year gift. Which tool I need to convert the M2TS video to DVD format ? (I use Windows 7). Is there any free software available? Thanks!

There must be many software online that can solve your problem, macx hd video converter is one of such programs. Have a try.

If you use Windows 7, then you're probably on the wrong forum. This is about Macs, Mac OS X etc.

Hankbrake can create DVD out of videos? Wow, that's great. I should download a free trial for tests before I actually order one.
