I have both Linux and Mac on my computer. I use my Mac for games, school work, and other things and use my linux for programming.
I used FreeBSD before I ever had a Mac, on a old intel computer, I liekd it alot so I am trying it out once again. But, I have a problem installing it on my Mac now :/
I insert the 6.0 PPC FreeBSD CD, I hold 'C', the boot screen comes up and everything is fine. I go to the partitions and click (a)uto to auto partition my drive. I does it and I click (q)uit and then exit. I informs me that this my last chance to turn back etc, etc. I click OK, it says creating FileSystem, then it says error opertation not permitted. Then it says error mounting {partition} to /mnt (Giving up!).
Has anyone had any success installing FreeBSD? or is it just me
I have a MacMini 1.4Ghz computer, non-intel.
Thanks.
