I have a Freecom Classic series external HD, 160 gb, which previously worked just fine on my G3 iBook. I run 10.4 Tiger, because this is the only OS that would allow the external HD to work on mac.
But after a faulty disconnection, where I accidentally pulled out the USB cable to the external HD from my mac, the drive won´t show up on my mac anymore. I have tried connecting the drive to a PC, works just fine. I have also tried connecting the Drive to other macs using 10.4 Tiger, and it doesn´t work.
What is the problem?
The disk worked perfectly, except the fact that I don´t have USB 2.0 on my G3 which makes file transfer sloooow, until I pulled out the USB cable.
