Hi

I just got a PowerbookG4, and I have a external harddisc Freecom Mobile HD 2.5 60GB that I used for my old PC. I wonder if some could help me to find a driver that make the MAC recognize the external disc.

Thank you in advance

You shouldn't need any drivers at all -- simply connect and power-on the drive, open "Disk Utility" (in /Applications/Utilities) and you should be able to format the drive from there.

Macs can read and write FAT32-formatted disks. You need to be a little clearer about how you want to use your disk. For instance, do you want to reformat the disk or do you want to preserve its contents?

Thank you, it works perfectly, just a quick question to the experts, can the spolight works wrong and not get the results that you know are there ans it doesn´t show it to you?? And if that happens, how can I fix it, because the last coples of days is working very bizzard

Does someone know if the USB ports of PowerBook G4 are design to supply power, because if it does, means that mine is not working properly
Thanks
