Frequent Panics

My machine panics what I consider to be frequently. Since I put Darwin Kernel Version 6.6 on May 25'th, it has paniced 8 times.

The last three times (which is all I have studied) the panic log is very similar each time. The only bit of english is

Kernel loadable modules in backtrace (with dependencies):
com.netlock.kext.NetlockKernel(2.1)@0x27876000

The hitch is this... I have apple support but I also have a speech defect so I'm hard to understand on the phone. Apple doesn't offer an email service that I know of.

But searching google groups, this board, and Apples two boards, I find nothing.

Any advice?

More details please. . .

-What computer?
-Am I correct in understanding that you're running Darwin and not OS X?
-If you're running Darwin, why don't you step back to the last version of the kernel?

Why don't you get your computer to read the problem to your tech support?

Open up your favorite text editor and type out your problem. Start with something like "This is a computer-generated message. I have a speech defect, so I am using my computer to call technical support. The problem is..." and so on. Then (assuming you have this capability enabled) select this text and push Cmd-Option-Return (well that's what it is on my computer, on yours it may be different. In the Speech system preference, select Spoken User Interface and check the last option, "Selected text when the key is pressed." Click the button to change key to see what the combo is, and then press this when the time comes) with the phone against your speaker (you may need to turn it up a bit).
 
Your panic clearly points to the kernel extension written by Netlock. (i.e. VPN software)

Contact them to see if an upgrade is available. If one is not, remove the software.

A very big thank you to all.

To answre some questions: This is a 1Ghz Dual mirror door machine with the memory maxed out at 2G. I'm not running Darwin but thought it might be a source of useful debugging of this sort of thing.

The computer generated voice is an excelent idea.

The VPN software is, in deed, a recent addition. I'll remove it and see if the stability increases. I'll also see if they have a new update or know about the problem.
