From Firewire drive to Windows tower?

I have the following Firewire drive WD2500BB-00DWA0:

Manufacturer: Initio
Model: 0x540

Can I take my drive with me to Toronto and transfer items like my mp3's; documents, FireFox favorites and jpg's to my brother's tower running Windows XP?

Yes, if the drive is formatted for Windows or if he runs software that can read a Mac formatted drive.
