From iMovie6 to iMovie9

My question is simple, but I need to know it before I may damage a Project.
This is it: I made a movie project with iMovie6 and saved it on a external HD.
Is it possible to make changes in my new MacBookPro (LeopardSnow) with iMovie9. The interface is different now! I must be sure nothing happens.
Did someone knows the answer?
 
Short answer is no.

Best solution is to install iMovie6 on your MacBook Pro...It will allow you to work with your older iMovie projects. iMovie9 will not be affected.
