Actually if I can scrounge up 600 dollars somehow, I would very much be inclined to buy it...

Are you willing to downgrade you computer and receive a 1.6 G5 + cash? If so, how much cash would you need? I have a 1.6Ghz G5/ 2.25Gb RAM/ 240Gb HD/ FX5200 GPU.

thats a nice offer, but unfortnately I am looking to get rid of the mac.
I will be switching to PC for a couple of months until adobe CS3 comes out. Then I will look into buying something portable for my job.
I may be willing to go a bit lower in price, depending on what you can offer.
(no trades, no trades+ $$$, sorry)

I would try ebay, dual proc G5s seem to go at a decent rate. I would think with the 9800 Pro and RAM that you have you should be able to get your $1200. Check out some current auctions, see what people are getting for theirs. You could also set a reserve if you are worried about the bid not going as high as you wish.

You should let me know how much it ends up selling for :-D I've been tossing around the idea of selling mine, it's similar to what you're selling.
