I have a Canon GL1, haven't used it that much, in fact I rarely use it. I seem to only use it to migrate things from VHS to my system for iMovie. 
Great camcorder... comes with (2) batteries, one is the factory provided, another is a longer thicker battery, if you want specs I can get it for you. Comes with a couple of tapes, and all the other factory stuff. I even have a FLASH for it, but no one may want to pay for that, its a nice one... with infrared focusing grid, and used for taking still shots using the camcorder, that I never really used.
