I have a 400 Mhz G4 Powerbook that is complete. I replaced the LCD and the LCD doesn't want to light up. I placed the LCD under a light and you can see the image of a computer in the middle of the screen. I connect it to an external monitor and it works. The latch holds the computer shut still, however the front bezel of the LCD wasn't glued back on since I didn't want to make any permanent moves on the LCD that doesn't light up.

This is good for parts or if someone knows how to fix the laptop. I'm looking for $300 or make an offer, paid via money order or paypal, shipped via priority mail.

The LCD works!!! I found the culprit of this machine. It is a dead inverter board. Does anyone out there have one? Or willing to buy this machine and replace the inverter board?
