I have had issues FTPing ever since I got on my mac. I am certain I am just doing something wrong, but I have no idea what!
I was running 10.3 and now am on 10.4
My issue, is basically, that things dont' seem to connect. Or, if it connects, it gets stuck on 'retrieving file list' or something similar.
I think it has to do with passv on or off, but I am not sure. Maybe it has to do with mac ftp extensions...
I've tried cute, fetch, and dreamweaver's built in FTP.
One of my servers, for example, should NOT have passive mode on. so I disabled it in system preferences, and in my FTP program, but no luck still..
Any suggestions?
