g++ on OS X

I want to be able to compile C++ programs with g++ on my mac. Is it possible? If so, how?

The C++ compiler on OS X Developer Tools is g++. For some reason though the file is called c++.

Yeah, I guess same reason why cc is really gcc.

I think you can download the developer tools from apple's website. Just join Apple Developer Connection (http://connect.apple.com/), it's free.
