G3 iBook graphite (non FireWire) question about power adaptor

My model didn't come with a manual, so I don't know what this means. When I plug in my iBook's power supply the ring around the plug glows green, then changes to amber at some point. I presume this means it's charging the battery? What happens when the battery's finally charged, back to green?

Also, is there any place I can get a PDF of the manual?

How long does it take to change to amber? If it's just a few seconds, then it's taking a moment to establish the flow of energy; if it takes a long time, there's a glitch somewhere in the firmware controlling the ring.

And probably Apple's website. Do a little digging... it's good for you. ;)

The color changing is perfectly normal. Indeed green for full, amber for charging. When plugging it in it is always green first and then chenges to amber if charging. If your iBook is fully charged it will stay green.
