G4 Airport Slot and OSX

I have brought a few lucent/avaya wireless networking cards and was wondering if it would be possible to get them working in the built in airport slot in my mac.

It would save me buying a cradle for my linux box, perhaps if the card worked in the native slot I could make my mac a wireless base station.

Thoughts & comments ?

I vaguely recall seeing some webpage about
how to do it but in general, unless you are
very comfortable disassembling and working
on microelectronics, it ain't gonna happen.
