G4 BlueScreen FREEZE!

G4 tower that is booting up normally but after the Grey Apple screen goes away, a blue screen shows, and it stays. Mouse, keyboard still functional. Installed Tiger a couple weeks ago. 1st time in 3 yrs having ANY trouble with cpu. Are there any Start-Up Keyboard commands i can use???

Not only did you respond SUPER fast, but the info you referred me to worked. I still dont understand why, but at least i can get my work done. MacOSX.com gets 3 thumbs up from me, and a link on my browser!
