I know there is a hard disk problem, an "invalid sibling link" that cannot be repaired through Disk utilities. I do NOT have the original Tiger disks. Bought it used through Craigslist, 10.4 already installed and I updated to 10.4.11. Tried to install Panther on it and now it is totally shot. (Long story) Question is:
Do I erase the hard drive completely using the Panther install disks, and install Panther until I can get a copy of Tiger, or
Do I get a disk repair utility, like DiskWarrior/TechTools, and run that first trying to salvage the OS 10.4? And then get Tiger and start over?
G4 has 933mhz, around 120gig hard drive, DVD, Zip drive, and I don't remember how much RAM but somewhere around 800mb.
