My first time here. Hope someone can help. I have a g4 and a g5 at work...the g4's firewire interface went missing one day...profiled it and it says "missing"...no firewire devices of any kind will mount. They all work perfectly on my g5 but I'm in a jam as I use the g4 to log and capture video.
I have tried archive and reinstall Tiger but nothing changed...also ran Tech Tools pro and it does not recognize the firewire... anybody else have this problem? What could be wrong?
