G4 Powerbook TV-OUT Black&White? help

Hey all just got this baby of ebay, 15" wide- 1.25ghz,1gig 3200 drr & ATi 9600 pro 64mem but odd thing is when i plug it into my Tv it shows black n white no color, i did play for an hour with all settings in display and still nada... Help
 
Sounds like a PAL / NTSC thing to me.
I'm not sure about the powerbook but when I connected mty old iBook to a TV, 2 option's appeared in the Displays preferences. one for PAL and one for NTSC. Here in the UK we use PAL format but if I set it to NTSC it would still display, but in B/W.
