Unfortunately, the last paragraph is true:

To maintain the claim I always thought would be impossible with the speed of processor technology turnover... but still, damn wimpy PC users...

6. Apple UK exec... (Apple are so bad at marketing, it wouldn't surprise me!)
 
what's the point in advertising something you can't supply anyway!!!!

I've had my Dual G5 on order since the summer...............I'm still waiting

so i'm glad i'ts been pulled
 
I think most advertising is deliberately misleading to an extent. Like this new flavor of gum is going to give me large abs, great hair and a way with the ladies. I'm not sure this is very different.

Gary: Fahrvergnuugen had a similar issue, he ordered soon after the announcement and didn't get his G5 until a couple weeks ago. Patience my friend...
