Hi,
I am wondering what this crappy noise i'm hearing in my G5 dual 1.8? right out of the tower's headphones! I have just bought a nice mic pre and am not utilizing the digital outputs untill i get s-pdif input for the G5. So i am still using analog inputs, i think it has to do with which audio system i use in system preferences of garageband, Sound is not caused by pre. i have to switch back and forth. maybe its time to use Ableton instead> or upgrade to tiger.
