Hi everyone.
I'm thinking of investing in the Sony DCR-HC90.
Can anyone tell me if they use this camcorder successfully over firewire via a 17" superdrive G5 IMac?
I used to have Sony TRV22, the TRV22 never worked with the G5 IMac, the Mac simply would not detect it, tried everything possible but it was just an enigma, worked with every other Mac except the G5 IMac series! Apple escalated the issue then told me it was imply not compatible which was odd since I thought firewire was their proprietary technology.
Anyway, I loved that camcorder and unfortunately it was lost on holiday recently and now I need one to replace it and I would like to finally start using IMovie.
I wonder if anyone has used the above combination successfully?
