G5 PowerMac Voltage Change

It all started at 3......
Hello guys,

I have a PowerMac G5 (almost two years old now), and I am wondering about the voltage and adapters for it as I will be moving to Australia soon. I currently live in Costa Rica where the voltage is 110V but when I'm in Australia the voltage will be much higher at 240V. Will my Mac automatically do this conversion so that I don't have to make any modifications? Or will I have to take a different route with this one?

Also, the plug sockets here in Costa Rica are the same as in the US, but they are different again in Australia - I am assuming that getting a suitable adapter is very easy to get my hands on?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you...

Ian

Your PowerMac G5 will auto-switch to any standard voltage - worldwide.
All you need is a suitable plug adapter.
Apple sells a world power-adapter kit - or you can check in any shop that offers that type of gear, especially when at an airport, or other international port-of-entry.
