G5 Tower Power Light Stuck On

I am having a problem with my Powermac G5 tower, where the Power light is stuck on. I have unplugged it and tried resetting the power, but immediately when I plug in the power cable into the Tower the power light comes on and no response from pressing the power button. Any one have any ideas? Thanks
 
How long have you left the G5 unplugged for? Wait about 20 seconds and then plug it back in and see what happens.
 
Which model G5 is it exactly? I remember there being some issues with the 1.8 GHz models. Also, what version of OS X exactly? I remember when I installed 10.3.9 on my father's 1.6 GHz G5 I had some problems. Turned out I needed to upgrade the firmware (done through Software Update).
