Games and dual processors

Hi,
i'm going to buy the new PM G4 dual processors @ 1GHz and I'd like to know if games hav a good dual cpu system.
I usually play with Quake 3 and Medal Of Honor Allied Assault. I know that Quake 3 has this feature and MOHAA in 1.0 version has frequent kernel panics. There is a 1.12 update for MOHAA which should use all CPUs without kernel panics, but a guy said me that it's not true: there r no kernel panics anymore, but it continues to use only one cpu.

What's your opinion?

I believe that in 10.2, any app that is multi-threaded will take advantage of dual CPUs.

This is because the OS will take the threads, and devide them up between the processors automatically.
