I was removing a program earlier today and I noticed that in my accounts myname/library/preferences there are quite a few (maybe 15) empty folders with garbage names. Just a few characters like {DX, |\, è\, ˇÙX and others with accented characters followed by a backslash.
What are these? Does anyone know what created them and can I just delete them since they're empty?
The machine is running just fine and I ran Preferential Treatment which found no problems.
