Gateway Cow... male?

Someone explain this to me..... Why does the cow featured in the Gateway commercials have a deep male voice? Cows are female, right? And bulls are male! So why the heck is does the Gateway cow sound male? WHY?!?!?!? It makes no sense!

Um..... slightly on topic... slightly off topic.... the voice of the Gateway Cow sounds like the guy who did the voice of "Brain" on "Pinky and The Brain," formerly of Animaniacs fame. I think it's the same guy.... doing that Orson Wells-type voice. Yiis.... still think that a cow with a male voice is confusing.
