Several companies now have developed a GeForce2 MX and a GeForce4 MX card in PCI versions. Has anybody tested these cards in the Macintosh? Specifically the Beige G3 models.
I was under the impression that all new nVidia chipsets, which includes the 2/4 MX cards, had the code in chip to auto-detect the Macintosh platform.
Please let me know as I would like to upgrade from the ATI Radeon 7000 Mac Edition card due to issues I am encountering in OS9. Additionally I feel that these MX cards may perform better for some applications.
