Getting a song IN to GarageBand?

Is there a way to put a song from iTunes or from a CD into GarageBand?

I think once you import it to iTunes you can drag it unto GarageBand. Don't remember off the top of my head, but my version of GB (2.02) should be able to import songs form iTunes.

You can import AIFF, WAV, AAC, Apple Lossless and MP3s into GB, just drag them onto the timeline beneath the tracks. Note that they don't change key or tempo to match your project.
