this may sound like a strange question, but hopefully someone can help.
i don't really have the time right now to do a clean install of 10.2, but i wanted to get rid of os 9 / classic on my mac. eventually, i will do this, but for now i just deleted the system folder and os 9 apps folder, and the alias of the OS 9 desktop folder in the terminal. i have no need for classic anymore, as the few apps i needed to update, i finally bought.
the question is this: everything is fine, but upon restarting my system, the OS 9 desktop folder alias is back in my root directory. what files should i delete/change to stop OS X from looking for classic, and to stop the folder from appearing everytime i restart?
i hope someone can be of some help, and that this makes sense.
