There is a website located here:
http://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/
that has some really nice screensavers for XWindows. Many of these came with LinuxPPC 2000.
I asked the author of this website here:
http://spazioinwind.libero.it/tpecorella/uselesssoft/software.htm
to port IFS (Iterated Function System) to Mac OS X. I just finished beta testing it for him and it will be posted tomorrow (so the author tells me). This is a direct port of the XWindows version with the exception that it is OpenGL enabled and transparency can be controlled. If you like rotating, colliding 3D Fractals, you are really going to like this one. There is no other screensaver like this that I've seen. And oh, the animation and color cycling is FAST!
