Spent the morning installing and then hacking away at Jaguar! I got angry for a bit, cuz' I hate font smoothing, and couldn't get it to turn off. Found the culprit, or at least got it to work for now.
A file called ".GlobalPreferences.plist" in my preferences folder. The first lines say something about antialiasing threshold, I changed it to 100 instead of 12, and viola!! My menu bar, ie, everything is back to the way I like it! All except for the clock and battery indicator, which doesn't really bother me.
Now if I could find the plist that controls window-resizing in the finder, mail and ie, I'll be happier than a pig in you-know-what!
Anyone have any ideas, or is it just not possible??
