Grab--put screen shots in dashboard

Hi there
I used GRAB to grab a couple of maps off of mapquest. I couldn't find them afterwards and I discovered they were in dashboard. Wierd??
Now I can't get rid of them. I've tried dragging them to the trash, clicking on them, trying to find them in the Finder. Nada. Nothing. I can't figure out how to get rid of them. When I clicked on one of them the entire machine froze and I had to turn the power off to get it to start up again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Grab prompts the user for a place to save each individual screengrab so I don't know exactly why they ended up as widgets.

Try pressing the Opt key as you hover your mouse curser over one of the maps in Dashboard and see if the x appears as it does in my picture.

If it does, then click the x to disable the widget.

I haven't got a clue why they went there but I'm glad to be rid of them
