Graphing Calculator help?

Hi, I'm trying to make my graphing calculator connect to the computer but it's not working. So I contacted Texas Instruments, and they gave me instructions, but the idiot support agent doesn't understand the word "MAC" and gave me PC directions. So is there some sort of device or hardware manager on the mac. That's what the lady wanted me to check to see if the calculator's drivers are properly installed. Thanks.
 
I just love it when people want help with a device, but don't say which model they are using. At any rate, have you installed TI Device Explorer™?
 
:D oops.

I have a TI-83 Plus

And I've installed TI Connect X, which yes includes TI Device Explorer.

It says, "A Device could not be IDed, please unplug and replug your USB Cable."

I did that, and even reinstalled the drivers but it still doesn't find it. It shows up in system profiler though.

EDIT: Hooked it up to a PC and it worked!
