I went to newegg.com and got an ImageQuest (hyundai) L70S 17" monitor. no DVI input but the text is absolutely crisp, colors/brightness great, no dead pixels and the price was only about $250. You can't beat that.
I'm going to get a second one for side-by-side display but am wondering if the G5 will accept two VGA monitors and how much that DVI->VGA adapter costs?
