Unofficial Mac Genius
Inside my /Volumes folder (which is hidden, of course), I have a lot of empty folders that are called "Group", "Group 1", "Group 2", "Group 3", "Group 4", and "Group 5". Then there's the regular volume folders: "HAL 9000" for my second partition, and the folders for my CDs.
Are these group folders normal. Does anyone else have them? And is it safe to delete them?
One reason is that when I use the 3D Finder I talked about a while back in the General Discussion area, these folders show up, presumably because the software scans the Volumes folder to show CDs and stuff.
I should mention that the folder called "Group" does have a folder called "a" inside of it, but I might have made that myself when screwing around with the 3D Finder.
Any insight would be much appreciated.
